Hey listen Christ Church, the Gospel is true ok. Seriously it is. All that stuff in John 2 about Jesus purifying us so we can celebrate? Yup, that is actually real.
So worth SMILING and SINGING about. I DO NOT understand how people who believe such great things can sing so rubbishly. Get over it.

We struggle with singing in Bournville. I don't know why exactly but this Sunday contributing factors were - my cold (I know it sounds stupid but in a small church lacking singers, when I'm not belting it out it adversely affects the others!), unknown & hard to sing tunes. I think my church have a complex about singing - pastor's exhorted us about sung worship, I've given tips on how to sing, but still. Only when we have 30+ attending, a good song, & I manage both to sing & play energetically do we really start to sing as if we mean it. I do think a lot of the answer would be if those Christians who move into the area who appreciate good sung worship wouldn't just automatically go to the big churches with good bands, but join a local church and contribute. Sigh.
